Applying to Saint Anthony Catholic School

We appreciate your interest in Saint Anthony Catholic School and hope to assist you during your application process in any way we can. If you have any questions, please contact us online or call us at (352) 588-3041.

Though application requirements vary by grade level, a typical process begins with a tour of our campus. During your initial visit, you will have time to sit down with someone from our admissions team who will get to know you, answer any questions you may have, and provide detailed information about the next steps.

We invite prospective families to immerse themselves in our school and get to know us. We offer the opportunity for prospective students to shadow a current student, where they spend the day going to classes and learning more about life at Saint Anthony Catholic School.

Our community of faculty, students, and their families are a close-knit circle that looks forward to welcoming new students into our caring and supportive environment.

The Admissions Process

Our elementary and middle school admissions process involves getting to know your family — but it also involves you getting to know us! We invite you to learn more about our application process below and to familiarize yourself with the parameters provided to ensure a smooth and timely process. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have.

How to Apply

While requests for admission to our school are welcomed on a year-round basis for students in VPK – 8, we encourage interested families to begin their applications 6-8 months before their intended start of enrollment. Admissions preference is given to returning students and their siblings, followed by newly admitted students and their siblings.

Our application process is fully online through our school portal, where family members can track the status of your child’s application in real-time.

To begin the online application process

  1. Create an account through our Family Portal (RenWeb), where you can start your application and view your progress. Once you create an account, you will receive an email containing a verification link. After verifying your email, you will be able to log into your account.
  2. Within the Family Portal, select the Create A New Student Application link to start the application.
  3. A non-refundable fee of $60 is required.
  4. After submitting your application and paying the fee, you will be able to track your admission status by logging into the Family Portal.
  5. Through this portal, you will also be able to track the school’s receipt of any supplemental materials and print any necessary forms.

Deadlines

While we welcome applications for admission on an ongoing basis throughout the year, parents, grandparents, and guardians should be aware of timelines if they wish to enroll a student in the upcoming school year.

Completed applications after submitted materials, interviews, and assessments occur, are reviewed in approximately 5-10 school days before our team makes an enrollment decision.

Tuition Assistance

Students who intend to apply for grants, scholarships or other tuition assistance are encouraged to be mindful of scholarship and financial aid deadlines.

Saint Anthony Catholic School provides and accepts a number of financial assistance opportunities such as the McKay Scholarship, the Family Empowerment Scholarship, Step Up for Students, the Gardiner Scholarship, and the AAA Scholarship, among others. Families are encouraged to explore tuition assistance, which they can learn more about here.

For Fall Enrollment

We encourage families to submit their applications by mid-February for August enrollment, however, applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Interested families who have missed this deadline should contact our admissions team or view our application portal, as enrollment may still be open.
