St. Anthony Catholic School recognizes the diversity and the uniqueness of the students attending our school. And in recognizing this uniqueness, we accept the responsibility to provide, as appropriate, reasonable accommodations which may ensure the success of each child. We believe in a team approach where the parents/guardians serve as the primary educator and advocate.
Professional support services begin in the classroom under the supervision of the teacher, who serves as the coordinator and advocate for the family. Additional sources of support include: Resource Teacher; School Counselor; Pasco County Schools Student Support Programs and Services; Pasco County Schools Title I Program and Pasco County School Nurse consultation. Families may also request our collaboration with privately-sought professionals in the community.
Support options for eligible students include:
After school classroom-based tutoring
After school remediation in Reading and/or Math through Title I
Speech and Language Therapy (Active IEP required prior to admission)
Documentation and referral to local public schools for evaluations of academic, behavior and speech-related concerns.
